So I have a couple nice sets of chopsticks but they were getting scraped up in the drawer with the silverwear. So since I had this great fabric I decided to make a holder based on those crochet-hook/knitting needle holders.

That's how it looks all rolled up.

The outside when it's open.

The inside when it's open. (I can't wait to buy more chopsticks to fill the other pockets!)

Closeup of the inside fabric, but it's not so pink, it's more of a deep red.
Now for my question. I bought these two beautiful fabrics at Joann's yesterday:

The only thing is, they're polyester and nylon. I've only worked with cotton fabrics before. So do you girls have any tips on working with this type of fabric? Do I need to treat it any differently? Thanks!
