I've been a part of this place for ages put I don't think I've ever posted anything. And then I was sitting in my room last night and suddenly thought I had a craft right above me I'd had for ages and thought I could post up. Light Decoration made from CD's.

The square frame was from my old lightshade. A Yellow Chinese style thing I got sick of because it made my room a horrible colour. So instead I decided I wanted something that would look pretty when the light came through the window because I get the sunset. And the plus, it cost me nothing to make.

I ripped the frame out of the fabric. I took the CD's from the free internet CD's you get in the shops, the pink paint was what was left over from decorating my room. All I did was give the CD's a coat of white and then two coats of Pink to cover the print of the CD, and then tied the CD's together with Pink string. The Mirror Ball I added later when a friend bought me it.

There doesn't even have to be a breeze, the CD's are always spinning round so they catch the light and catch the light from the mirror ball and make fantastic colours on my walls. And when it's windy it's even more fun. You can sit for ages watching it.
