I bought an iron on transfer on ebay... directions state:
"...heat iron to highest setting... continue until color has changed from green to orange..."
I left the iron to heat up and the colors aren't changing!helllp!

Complete instructions:
Prepare a stable heat resistant surface suitable for ironing on
NOT IRONING BOARD, place a suitable cover like
A pillow case to protect surface
Heat Iron to highest setting (210C - 410 F)
DO NOT USE STEAM FUNCTION
Briefly iron the fabric to ensure its smooth and crease free
Place the transfer onto it printed image facing down
Make sure the heat in tansferred evenly over the entire area
Don't forget the corners and edges
Continue until the green colour has changed to the orange
Colour like the iron colour that is printed on the paper
PLEASE NOTE to ensure a perfect transfer make sure the
Colour change is at least 90% of the green colour
To acheive a matt finish peel of the backing paper while still hot
To acheive a glossy finish peel off backing paper while cold.
