craftgrrl | plushy padded panties!

Ok this post is not for the squeamish if you freak out about bleeding girlies. Turn around now.
(I'm not WEARING the blasted things in the pics or anything but if you don't like even thinking about it run away run away!)

I have decided to make DIY period panties with an accompanying velcro-in pad that can be changed easily and washed with regular laundry. I'll probably soak and handwash them here as there's no laundry in my house.

Here's where you attach the pad.

Roomie trousers. to hell with thongs this is bloated, comfy girl week for me.

Here's the pad from the top. It's made of some soft, cotton scraps I had around.
The padded part is 100% cotton batting.

This is the bottom of the pad where it attaches to the crotchety crotch crotch.

Literally after I post this I'm going to take a nice, long shower (my back hurts from slaving over the sewing machine & these glorious cramps) and try out my fabu creation. If you post that you'd like to know the results of my trial run. If you're disturbed beyond werds I will leave it at this.
