First time posting
Jan. 31st, 2003 09:25 amHi everyone...I've been watching and learning from this community for a while now, and thought I should introduce myself. Of course, I need some advice also.
My boyfriend and I are moving into a new apartment. It's much smaller than the one we're moving out of, so we're doing a lot of down-sizing in order to fit in our new studio. It's an older building so the apartment has tons of molding around the door-ways and the perimeter of the ceiling. It also has tall rectangular "frames" on all the wall space made from smaller molding/trim that really adds character to the apartment itself. It will be a bit challenging hanging shelves, but I know we can get around that.
The walls are all painted the normal "apartment white" and I was wondering if someone could suggest a way to paint or add color to the molding and/or frames to give the apartment an original look.
I promise to post pictures when we're all moved in, so you can see how it all turned out. This is my first big project like this, so I'm a little nervous. I really appreciate any suggestions you may have. Thank you.
