Silverware Art
Jul. 19th, 2006 02:21 pmHey! I'm Kimmy and I'm new to this community & I think it's fabulous. Such a creative bunch of people!
Scrapbooking is my current art form, but I've dabbled in other arts.
Back in college I got so mad at this guy that I bent a fork at dinner (not with my mind LOL) and it looked pretty, so I started stealing silverware from the dinning hall and experimenting on it. I made a series of bent silverware. A few months ago I found the collection and asked a friend to drill holes in it for me. So he did and a few nights ago when one of my windchimes outside lost a piece I brought it inside ot fix it and remembered my silverware. So I removed most of the orginal windchime bits and tied my silverware on.
This seemed like a place that would appreciate my weird silverware art. : )

The long pole on the side is my lamp, which I had hung it on while working on it.

Detail, except the pic is upside down. For some reason Photobucket is being EVIL and refuses to flip it

another close up- this one isn't upside down!
These are a couple of forks that aren't on the windchime, they didn't fit/were too cool and stand alone on my shelf instead.

The one in the foreground I call the Rock Fork, becuase it resembles "rock hands" hehe.

This is the first fork I bent, the one that reminds me what jerks guys can be... believe it or not I did this one all without tools. Just pure anger.
Thx for looking! :D
