My friends birthday is coming up and she is in love withe elliott smith so i decided to make her a bag/backpack. I had an old pair of overalls lying around for extra fabric so i thought they would make the perfect backpack since i had premade shoulder straps. i made a pretty ordinary bag first, then attached a big pocket to the side that faces the persons back. the pocket had the buttons that the shoulder straps click into so i figured i would make use of them. When on my back the bag would just hang open so i put a strip with 4 buttons on the inside in order to keep it closed. I stenciled him on first but it didnt work out that well so i cleaned it up a bunch free hand. his name was also done free hand.
I think it came out well and my friend will like it.
