Hi, I'm newish around here--this is my first post but I've been reading for awhile. Here are the crafts I've finished lately or am still working on!
My boyfriend's parents are on a cruise in Europe right now and his mom couldn't find a bikini she liked, so I made this one for her. (I realize the lining fabric doesn't match the crocheted parts, but it matches her skintone and that's what she wanted.)

And here's a closeup of the bottoms, so you can see the pattern. I'm rather proud of how this turned out and she loves it!

For my boyfriend's brother's birthday I made him this scarf. (It's way too hot for scarves right now, but he's going to be spending next semester in Spain and wanted a warm scarf.) It's adapted from the Jolly Roger pattern in Stitch'N'Bitch's the Happy Hooker book. On the back, the yarn ends are hidden by matching felt, and there are crocheted pockets over the felt.

In an effort to keep cool the other day, I made these flax-stuffed...things that you can put in the freezer. The ones with ribbons are designed to be wrapped around your neck or head and tied to keep them in place. The silver and purple one is mine, the silver and black is my boyfriend's, and the green and gold one is a present for someone else. The little blue ones on the right are designed to be pocket ones, or ones to take to bed with you.

The ribbons also make them easy to tie up into cute little packages for gifting!

Finally, this is a Ravenclaw scarf I'm working on for a friend who's moving to Illinois. I'm not too fond of the yarn (she picked it out), but I think the pattern is nifty--you can see here where it's twisted,f
knitted on both sides.
