Jeans to skirt

These used to be my favorite pair of jeans, and since I wore them so much the crotch started getting a little threadbare and eventually got a couple holes. So I turned it into a skirt! I made it a couple years ago, actually... don't think I ever posted about it though. It's really comfy and was surprisingly easy to make. Since the inside fabric was light, I had to back it with an old white t-shirt so it wouldn't be see-through.

(I also made the quilt it's laying on for my then-boyfriend [now husband] and it's made entirely out of his old jeans and a couple shirts. Yay for sappy gifts! I also put 4 pictures of us on it and wrote meaningful dates here and there..)
