craftgrrl | private listings on ebay?

don't know if this is the right place for me to ask this, but i have an ebay related question. i have a buyer who wants to buy a set of beads off me, and i have the listing all set to go - but i don't know how to make it private (not private in the sense that they can't see her ID, which is what a "private listing" on ebay means, but private in the sense that only she can go see it - so others don't bid on this item). i can't find info about this on the ebay site, but for some reason i thought that it was against ebay's policy to sell behind their back (when it was a buyer that found you through ebay - which this one was).

thanks to anyone who knows the answer. i guess i want to know a) can ebay do this, and if so how do i do it? or b) if ebay doesn't even offer this service, is it really against their policy to just sell directly through paypal or something?
