Boredom + new beads = tons of necklaces
Aug. 14th, 2006 04:30 amI haven't made a new necklace in months and after buying some new beads, I've gone a bit crazy the last couple of weeks. I actually even made two decent pairs of earrings.
The lighting in my apartment is horrible and when I used flash, the beads just reflected it all back at the camera. So I apologize if some of these are dark.

The black beads and the large blue and green beads were bought at Michaels. They were some new beads that were on display in the middle of the aisle. Tons of pre-strung beads. I've been planning on going back and getting more.
Between the large blue and green beads are purple Swarovski crystals. At the ends are small blue/green beads are from AC Moore.

Beads from blue necklace are beads that I've had forever and never had any ideas for.
Red beads were also from Michaels. Clear beads from an old necklace I took apart. Heart is from ???

Mother-of-Pearl purple discs from Michaels. Bottom earrings have sterling silver chandelier thingies, hooks, and pins. Purple Swarovski crystals and purple beads that came with discs.

Large beads from AC Moore. Medium clear beads from an old kit. Small peach beads from local bead shop, Bead Monster.

These were made from a really long necklace that I bought from Claires. I had wanted a large, white beaded necklace but I don't wear long necklaces. So after a year, I finally took it apart and made two smaller necklaces.

The four rectangle resin beads were bought last summer from Bead Monster. I had made them into a bracelet. I never wore the bracelet so I decided to try to turn them into a necklace. They didn't all work on the same strand, so I made three that can be worn together.

Feel free to ask me any questions. I've been making necklaces for 12 years now and I've been experimenting with earrings for a little over a year. Any tips would be appreciated.
