New slippers!

This is my first completed crochet project and while it is not a horrendous disaster; it is also not an overwhelming success. First the pictures...





My only problem is that the buttons on the sides aren't symmetrical and one slipper is an entire row larger but it's the slipper I did last and that actually fit my foot better. Since I'm not wearing these out in public, it's not that big a deal and they are fairly warm. My only other thing is that they are quite bland at the moment. I'd like to put an easy crocheted flower on them...but i dunno how to crochet flowers...so if anyone has any suggestions, please leave me a comment! Thanks:)
