embroidery is not just for your nan
Aug. 31st, 2006 05:59 pmHere are a couple of pictures of my latest embroidery. I started it on Saturday evening and just finished it, and it's one of the most ambitious things I've made yet. Every single little dot you see on it was embroidered individually by hand. I might be some kind of masochist, but I think it looks fantastic. I'm very, very happy with it. Not sure what to do with it as yet, but I'm sure something will occur to me soon.

This skirt is one of my favourites but I spilt bleach on it, and it's made of linen so dyeing it was not an option. I embroidered over the bleach marks in black to try and make them a bit less obvious.
