I haven't made a lot lately but I sat down today and made a bracelet out of some stuff I just bought. What do you think?

I had originally intended something different but I like the turn it took. This is my very first bracelet ever and the first thing I've done completely on wire rather than some kind of cord.

It's turned out just slightly too big because I hadn't taken into consideration the need for jump rings at the closure. I may see if my sister can wear it or I may keep I haven't decided yet.

Annnnnd yet another question: I bought some satin cord for a necklace I had planned out. The cord says 2mm. I got some clamshell bead tips, the largest I could find, and they say they're 8mm. However, obviously to those who make jewelry regularly, the cord is under no circumstances small enough to fit through the clamshell. Um...help? How do I finish this necklace? I couldn't afford the crimp tool to use crimp beads and I don't know how to attach the clasp without having clamshells on the end. Most crafts I can pick up immediately and figure them out but jewelry seems to befuddle me.

The owl pendant isn't finished, of course, he still need eyes painted on, but I wanted to go ahead and the get the design out of my head and into reality.

I'd really like to get this necklace finished as it's been sitting around for too long held together with a paperclip.
