fabric stores in nyc?

hey im going to be going to a fashion show tomorrow in manhattan and was wondering if anyone knew of really good places to by fabric. not to expensive thou cause im on a budget >_<; but ive heard there are alot, alot of fabric stores i would try to go to all of them but ill probably be short on time while going to the show and open house so if anyone knows of any stores please let me know thank you! ^_^
