Pants from Other Pants
Sep. 11th, 2006 11:53 amGreetings, crafters! Long time reader, first time poster.
I have a pair of cargo capri pants that fit GREAT at the waist and hip -- which is a tough thing to find, when you're a "curvy pear". I looked around for a tutorial on how to make other pants using my pants as a base, but almost all of them wanted me to break apart my current pants to make a pattern. No way! A couple of places mentioned using masking tape, but I couldn't find a tutorial. So I went ahead and made my own.

(PS - I love how cats always manage to sneak into a picture when you're using the timer.)
