Hey, so a friend of my friend asked me if i could make her a purse. simple right? wrong. She wanted a replica of her FAVORITE american eagle bag. She said hers is torn to shreds from use, and american eagle doesnt make that bag anymore. She asked if i have ever done this before i say no, but let me take a look at the bag.

its tiny and complicated! oh no! 3 zippers, 3 pockets! and a flap that goes over everything. of course i told her.. okay! i'll try! the other thing was that she wanted to use the old strap cause she really liked it (what ever i think i would have looked better with a new one, but oh well! not my bag) anyways. i finished it tonight. took about 3 1/2 hours but its done! what do you all think will she like it?????

All pockets fully lined.


i wish the pics had turned out a little better. all the seams are topstitched with aqua-ish color thread. to match the zippers.

oh and. it wasnt THAT complicated. just a lot to stuff to fit into a little purse! its only like 11" big!
its not my style bag but i really am pleased with how it turned out. i just winged everything!
