rail fence quilt & a log cabin block

Just finished my first quilting class and made a rail fence quilt out of batik fabrics. All the blocks are the same and its very easy. Pattern is found in the book "start quilting with Alex Anderson".

After finishing the quilt, I tried making my first log cabin block. Pattern also in the Anderson book.
