Here's the story.....
I once wanted a wedding dress.....namely a black one.
So thought I would buy a used one and dye it.

After dying it twice it only turned out a greyish purple....which would have been fine accept.......

The dress manufactureres glued on the majority of the appliques throughout the dress....primarily on the bottom skirts.
Leaving huge glue spots that took the dye beautifully.

Having already spent time and money on the thing I tried to remedy it as best as I could....until throwing my hands up in frustration it got put into the closet to do something with later.
It sat there, then got moved, then got put back in the closet again for over 5 years.

Yup...you heard right folks. Five years.....maybe more....

Until about a half a year ago I tore it apart. And rebuilt it.
The only part I didn't touch and resew was the bodice....not even the sleeves were safe.

Many beads and sequins later I got this:

Pretty no?

I finally finished it this morning.

One in the series of my half done projects finally getting done.....this was the oldest I believe.

Next up:
Piccies of my leather jacket remodel!
