HOT WINGS!!!
Sep. 21st, 2006 07:53 pmThanks to all of you who made suggestions on the materials to use. I decided to go with the Crayola Model Magic. I used two bags of white. Molded the wings/veggies and let them dry for 24 hours. Then I painted in burnt umber acrylic and added mod podge for gloss. I glued them onto an orange plastic plate I got from the thrift store for 29 cents. And drilled two holes to tie my elastic to..makes it easier to just wear the plate then actually carry it.
For those missed my original post...I made this to go with my friend's Halloween costume. She's going as a Hooters girl. She's going to get one of their menus laminated and carry it around with her along with this plate of their famous hot wings :)
