Screen Printing

It's ages since I have posted anything :o gasp

I have here couple of metres of fabric that I screen printed for a class assignment. I am thinking of using it to make stuff to sell, so any criticism would be helpful. I've never sold anything before. I'm not sure how much to charge and if I spent all this time making stuff would people actually buy it?

Print was done by silk screening, the artwork on the screen is about 35cmx100cm, each time you print you move the screen over 35cm to make it repeat. The art work is designed so that no join is visible. Gosh I hope I explained that so it makes sense. Its hard to tell by the photos but there is no clear direction to the print. This is printed on cotton voile and the ink is black and gold mixted together. Any ideas on what to make with it? Its about 80cmx100cm. I was thinking pj pants.



Next is the same print on 100% silk dupion. It's just draped over a pillow atm. How much do you think I could charge for a cushion over made out of this fabric (without an insert)? I would probably add gold piping around the side seams as well. Would you pay around $US35 for something like this? Or is it too expensive?



ELEPHANTS! Woot. This was the first textile print I ever did. After that assignment I was going elephant crazy. Nightmares I tell you.

Same print with another colour over the top. The repeat is designed to not match up on purpose here. I used transulcent ink so when the images over lap they create green.



Sorry about the blurriness. I have about 3m of this stuff and it is very trippy all laid out flat. The fabric is cotton twill. I have no idea what to use this for aside from more cushions. Covering a canvas maybe? Or creating a photoboard? All the fabric has been heat set - its washable and the inks will last.
