First off i would like to thank mvmarcz,_fortress, andi_infocus, suntostars, and snooseanne for their help when i asked about painting on metal. I actually didn't end up going with any of your advice though...because i couldn't find a tin that was suitable for my project. So instead i used a box.....




For a very special boy i decided to make a very special place to hold 50 pairs of earplugs. He works in the music industry so they come in very handy.) The inside of the box is lined with a picture of both the inside and outside of the ear, and it tells what each part is. There are random facts about the ear/hearing around the inner sides.




On the inside part of the lid i took different pictures of ears and made a little collage.



The top of the box is kind of an inside joke between us...but it was in fact the first time that i had painted anything in at least 3 years.



All in all i am super proud of it. Full of personal touches and i got my first experience with mod podge under my belt!
