My friends birthday is coming up on Day of the Dead. She is pretty skeleton/skull obsessed. Being a caring friend, I do what I can to add to her collection of skully things.

Skull Purse

I made the stencil, then I sewed on some sequins for the Day of the Dead vibe. You feel it?


Skeleton Earrings
I got the beads at a local bead shop. The wire wrapped bones were a bit of a pain in the arse, but I think they have quite a bit of personality. (The skeleton on the right has relationship/attachment issues, the one on the left is a bit too clingy. I think stories to go along with creations are very important.)



I plan on making a shirt with bones, a skull journal, and some handmade skull wrapping paper yet...we'll see how much I can get done before the November 2 deadline. Hehe, DEADline.
