for valentines day i'm making decorating a little box and filling it up with homemade cookies and probably some candy for my boyfriend. i need some help though! i have it covered and mod podged with black tissue paper, so it has a cool wrinkly texture. i have the lid covered too, and i traced and cut out a celtic design, the True Lovers knot, out of red paper, and have some red ribbon around the rim. it looks so plain though! any ideas for decorating the sides without taking away too much attention from the top? i wish i could post pics, but i hope the description helps.
