craftgrrlThank you all for your kind words about the Zoidberg statue I made my boyfriend for his birthday (http://community.livejournal.com/craftgrrl/9369673.html). He absolutely loves it, and said "WOW!" about a dozen times after he opened it, followed by a "you made this?! it's amazing!" Then he wondered how much he could get for it on eBay, haha.
And just so this isn't a text only post, here are a couple pictures of a table centerpiece I made. We had fall flowers on the table, but they finally died and the table looked quite bare. So I went outside and cut some branches, and then cut a bunch of leaves out of colored felt... I think it looks pretty good!
It also didn't take very long, or very much money (technically it didn't cost me anything, since I already had the felt, but felt is like, what, 25 cents a sheet, so if you had to buy it, it would still be under $1)!
