Ok so the Darth Vader one was eloquently carved by my husband, who claims to not be crafty even though he picked out some nice bead sets at a bead shop over the weekend and he actually wants me to make him a necklace.

He found the Vader online, of course, but it was literally an already-carved, lit-up pumpkin. You had to pay to get the pattern! So he proceeded to get some graph paper out and spend the next couple of hours drawing the pattern himself, freehand.

Then he transferred the pattern to the pumpkin using the little puncturing tool in the pumpkin carving kit.

He was up until about 4am on Monday morning finishing it up.

I'm very proud of him! I think he did a great job. I know it's not quite perfect, but it's pretty freakin good, isn't it?!
