Corsets!

The corset is also for my Amano Rosa costume :D The vest is part of a rave outfit I'm making for a friend.


The corset!

Yay :) This is my first attempt at a corset. I drafted the pattern from raw measurements, and I'm surprised it turned out this well :D I have to say I'm very pleased with it!

...the beads...

This is just a close-up of the beading detail I did on the front closure. I post this because, like on the shoes, each bead had to be sewn on one by one, and then I strenthened the whole thing by running a single long piece of thread through all the contiguous parts.

...and the vest:

Pattern was freehanded from raw measurements. Also my first try at vest patterning, and my was it fiddly o.O The finished product is subsequently a bit wonky. But, it looks good in pictures and therefore serves its purpose :D Not nearly as crafty as the corset, but yanno. I'm still happy with it!
