I started out with a cloth version of the Freddy sweater from a Halloween store. Cut it in two, sewed it to fit my body (especially the sleeves). I turned the shirt around so the back could be used as a neckline. Then I used a cheap Freddy foam mask to make my brow piece and glued that on and painted it to match my face.









And I thought you might appreciate this...my friend Bobby dressed as his Boston Terrier, Emo:
