Nov. 9th, 2006 08:09 pmI'm looking for patterns/inspiration for beaded snowflakes. I've seen the ones made with seed beads and long stick-like beads, but that's not what I'm looking for. I had a kit to make 6 beaded snowflakes, and I really would like to make more. However, the kit was $8 for pipe-cleaners, wire, and beads. I can make them much cheaper myself, but I'm hoping for some extra patterns/inspiration (they aren't hard to figure out), similar to the ones I have already made.
I know these are probably going to be seen as tacky/ugly/gaudy by most of you, but I really love them.

I usually do other crafts: felt work, knitting, cross stitch, painting, sculpture, ect. But I've been going through cancer treatments and these are the only things that keep my attention/interest. When I'm feeling terrible, making the simple but pretty snowflakes make me feel better. So no, they aren't artwork, but they make me happy. If you have any patterns/inspiration pictures that you could share, I'd be really really greatful.
Thanks!
