craftgrrl | putting paper onto fabric

I was wondering if there is a way to attach paper to fabric without sewing. Yesterday I found a bunch of amazing vintage children's books at Goodwill and want to hang some of the pages on my wall. Instead of putting them in frames, I thought maybe I could incorporate them into fabric wall hangings. I suppose I could just stick some double-sided tape on the back, but I'd like for them to be flat. Is there anything else I could do? Can you glue paper onto fabric without it bubbling or distorting the fabric? Any suggestions are appreciated!
