Nov. 12th, 2006 08:02 pmI've got some bits of metal that I'm wondering what I could possibly do with. They are "drips" of solder. I was helping my boyfriend while he soldered together some stuff, and I noticed that when the excess solder dripped onto the newspaper we had laid down, it formed interesting designs. I snatched up the good ones, and now am left with very flexible thin pieces of metal (mostly tin with a bit of silver, as it was lead-free solder). They aren't large; the largest is maybe about an inch long.

I can also make plenty more, as we've got tons more solder and it's cheap stuff to get, anyway. I know these bits of metal have a use, but I'm lost! Any ideas? Thanks in advance. :)
