christmas stockings!

hello ladies!

this is my first time posting to this community, although i've been stalking you all for a few weeks :-)

first, i just want to say that all of your crafting has really inspired me to start creating things on my own. i was never a regular crafter. i love visual arts, and have always liked making things, but never had any motivation. but you guys have gotten me moving, and i am having such an awesome time!

so, here it is! my first craft project:





my name is amy and my kitten's name is sioux. hence the A and S.
i made them using fabric, faux fur, and felt from walmart (( yeah, i'm super lame, but it's the only place to get fabric at 2am )).
the red floral fabric was a (sexy) upholstery sample from my old job, as well as the green velvety fabric.
(( architecture internship: i swiped it from our interior designer )).
