craftgrrl | Crafty gift ideas for mom...

I'd like to make something for my mom for Christmas, but haven't decided on what yet. She's a teacher. She doesn't really read or journal. She wouldn't really be into candles or soaps... She doesn't cook...

I was thinking maybe I could make her a Mother's quilt--does anyone have any pattern ideas? Or I could make her a quilted bag for school--maybe it could say "teacher" or something? Any pattern ideas on that?

I know how to sew and crochet. I have hand-made books before, and done light painting work (like pots). Any other ideas of things a mom would like for Christmas? (Or, if you were going to make YOUR mom something for Christmas, what would it be?) :)

ETA: She plays clarinet in an orchestra and LOVES scrapbooking, if that helps any as well!
