Pill Bottle Art

My boyfriend's mother has been saving all of her old pill bottles for me over the past month or so. While I was listening to Bright Eyes "Lifted: The Story is in the Soil" I realized what I could do with them.

I took Bright Eyes lyrics, typed them up, and stuffed them inside the bottles. I peeled off the labels, and made new ones saying "This bottle is for you...YES, YOU! OPEN ME!"

I took all my extra lyrics (because I didn't have enough bottles), and put them face down inside copy machines, for people to find. I wrote "READ ME" on the backs of them.

I placed the bottles all over the student union, on benches and couches. I put them in the library, the speech arts building, the art building, and the music building.



I wonder if people will care, and how many of these will end up in the trash.
