Another set of 5 DIY ornaments
Dec. 8th, 2006 05:38 pmI haven't had a chance yet to try most of the wonderful suggestions so many of you sent to me, but they are in the queue. Thank all of you so much for your help; it really makes it seem more like a fun endeavor rather than something I have to do because of the lack of funds. :)
.
These are the cubes. Obviously.
And the sparkly pyramid (or tetrahedron). All of these really do look much better in person (and from a better angle.)
These are the adorable little guys I'm doing all of this for. And I don't even particularly like kids. I thought it would look cute as an ornament, so did what I could to fashion a frame for last year's Xmas photo.
I really like this one so far, but I can't figure out what to put in it. I filled it with a weird styrofoam/glue concoction and a snowman idea, but it didn't work out as I had hoped. Any suggestions?
Anyway, the kiddoes will be here any minute and their dad is still at court, so I need to gird myself for battle.
A word of advice: Do not craft with things that resemble food while also attempting to prepare food.
And thanks again to all of you with such great and creative ideas for no-budget decor. I know I appreciate it and the boys will too (although they may not realize it.)
