I made a pear pincushion!

The struggle that preceded the making of this pear is truly epic. I was inspired by this one and just had to have it. My old pincushion was a toy wombat, and my boyfriend made me feel guilty by acting out a limping real-life wombat writhing in pain from my inadvertent voodoo sticking. After much pondering, babushka doll mummification, cutting, scaling and tracing, I had a pattern. I hope to post it, and tutorial, when my camera batteries are charged.
