painted flowers: to be or not to be?
Dec. 20th, 2006 01:06 pmwhilst at the salvation army looking for an answering machine, i found this glorious cabinet. ten dollars later, she was mine.

its definately an original antique. there was one of those old-timey manufacturer's stickers on the top that gave me the impression that it was probably made before 1950. i love love love the cabinet, but i'm only unsure about these painted-on flowers on the glass.

i'm not sure if they're original, or if they were painted on later. i'm also not sure if i like them. so: should i razor-blade the flowers off? or do you think they're original, and i should keep them?
