lunch crafts get crazy
Jan. 4th, 2007 01:17 amMy boyfriend has an irrational love for googly eyes, so just for fun, I made him a little something silly.

Since he is very fastidious about his teeth, and loves to eat, I made him a little "lunch buddy" for him to take to work and keep in his desk. Materials used: one of those little "purse-size" Johnson & Johnson first aid kits, various colors of fleece, travel-sized condiments, and various tooth/breath-related products. Plus, two different sizes of googly eyes--twelve total.
A shot of the top, of "Sammy" the Sandwich and "Spork":

The sandwich is five layers of fleece, so it has a kind of 3-D effect and sticks up off of the lid. Squishy! The spork I just made because I'm a total dork and thought that it would make him laugh. :)
The contents of the box:

Contents pictured (clockwise): citrus breath spray, moist towelettes, salt, pepper, Splenda (his fave!), dental floss, mint toothpicks, and Spork.
A shot of the inside of the box and the lid:

All closed up and ready to give away:
