(no subject)
Jan. 5th, 2007 11:37 amI've made two more

Since I got a, "How did you do that?" I decided I'll post a [not really needed] tutorial.
First, you need to make sure you have all your materials.
*dime sized paper puncher [unless you'd like to do it the hard way with scissors]
*posterboard or cardboard...or something harder than just paper
*mod podge
*paint brush for the mod podge
*jewelry tools
*magazine clippings [or images from a computer...Though I'm not sure if the ink will smudge??]
*a pin, or something sharp
Punch out as many discs as you need out of the posterboard, and then punch out images for them from your magazine clippings.
Coat the posterboard with mod podge and place the image on. [I do both sides, but it doesn't really matter.]
once that dries, go over the whole thing with mod podge so that it hardens the discs. [I coat mine a few times just so its not as flimsy.] I suggest you don't do both sides at once because then you'll have to hold it...or let it glue to whatever you place them on. :P
Once it's completely dry, poke holes in the discs...But not TOO close to the edge or it'll probably rip.
Connect the discs however you want.
I've shown you two ways to connect them.
Either by:
*wire wrapping [hence why you need the jewelry tools]
*jump ring-ing them together
aaaaand voila. You've made your very own disc bracelet. :]
