crayon drawing iron on
Jan. 6th, 2007 07:41 pmWhile coloring in w crayon some pretty line drawing I found, a thought occured to me regarding transfering the drawing, or really just the crayon/wax part onto something like a bag. Would I be able to color a picture on regular paper, say printer type and then proceed to place it crayon side down on a bag and iron on the back? Would this actually transfer the image from the paper to the fabric or would it totally not work and it will be a smelly mess? I suppose I could just color on a bag w the crayons too. If I colored directly onto a cotton fabric w regualr crayon would I be able to iron it a bit to seal it as long as there was some paper, maybe brown paper, between drawing and iron so not to ruin my iron or make a huge mess? anyway, I don't know how well it would work, I suppose jsut trying it would be good. But for all you transfer image divas, I thought you might have some insight into creative transfering past iron ons from your printer or a shop. also should the tranfer work, how would I protect the crayon from fading if say it needed a washing?
