craftgrrl | Belated Christmas balls

Okay, I gave one of these away to everyone in the immediate family (both my side and the inlaws) this year... I got the inspiration from someone who posted about these in December last year...

Full descriptions are in the gallery. Most of these were done by taking christmas floral picks and snipping off bits that were the right size to fit in the ball.

I *did* try to put rub-on transfers of snowflakes and gold leaves on the balls, only I discovered the hard way that when you try and put rub-on transfers on thin glass, the glass will shatter in your hands. *oops*

These had actually been in my closet from last year, and I'd intended to use paint on the balls instead of putting other things in them, but the person who posted in december gave me ideas. :)
