craftgrrli've been trying to find something to use my leftover scraps of fabric and yarn for, and i think i've found it.
The Snuggles Project is a charity organization that accepts donations of patchwork, knitted, and/or crocheted blankets to dontate to shelters for homeless animals. their site contains patterns and suggestions for making blankets and toys, as well as a full list of shelters world-wide that are part of the project and accept donations. i'm in touch with one here in Montreal and will be donating a number of ghetto-looking but warm blankets and our cats will be donating a bag of their cat food to those less fortunate ;)
anyway... i'm not affiliated with the organization or anything, just came across it and thought it was a worthwhile project and thought i'd share :) happy crafting!
