I'm not sure how crafty this really is, but I thought I'd throw this idea out there for other moms who are tired of doing the same old birthday treat bags over and over again.

My youngest son is turning five this weekend, and I decided to do something a little more special for his birthday treat bags this year. His class only has four students in it, and the other three are girls. So I decided to make them purses and put a snack inside.

I used scrap yarn I had in my stash and made these up really quick. I put a Kool-Aid Burst and fruit snack in each one. The girls will get them tomorrow.

Oddly enough, I made all three bags the exact same way, and all three came out different sizes. I'm still not sure how I managed that. The thickness of the yarn has a lot to do with it, I'm sure. These were all made with Red Heart Super Saver. Durable and easy to wash.
