Very belated Christmas-gifts post
Jan. 28th, 2007 11:55 pmI meant to post pictures of the stuff I made my family for Christmas back around when it WAS Christmas, but I got distracted. As a result, I have pictures of even MORE stuff to post pictures of, since I've made a whole bunch of new stuff since then.
My mom wanted this bag, so I just made her one similar:

My sister had just gotten a new macbook, so I made her a case for it:

I was psyched that it actually fit, because I made the whole thing based on math and dimensions found on the internet, without actually testing it out with her computer...

There's a removable accessories pouch on the back
My dad wanted a masculine-looking lunch bag:

So I made it blue...

and lined it with fabric that has pictures of tools on it. That's pretty masculine, right?

Then I made myself a very girly lunch bag:

A quilted argyle bag that I made a friend for secret santa:

and a little matching zipper-pouch
This is a tote bag I made myself before Christmas, with lyrics and album artwork from The Matches:

The crow is felt, stitched on, the letters are stencilled.

Lyrics, done with an iron-on because I was too lazy to do a three-color stencil.
And here's a shirt that I made for one of my supervisors this summer:

A bag I made out of a Plain White T's shirt that was too small, but came free with their new CD:
