My last crafting ventures
Feb. 4th, 2007 11:19 pmAhoy, crafters.
Below are my two recent projects that I just HAD to make so I could stop thinking about them.

This was my first attempt at a doll, and it came out...ooookay despite having no patterns or sewing ability. He's held together with hot glue, so he's not the most huggable, and his hair looks more like Cloud from Final Fantasy, but it was a first attempt.
He's felt + stuffing + hot glue + acrylic paint.
I posed him atop my cat in hopes of making him look a little cuter by osmosis.
If I make him again, I might go with a grey face/white hair, since, you know, he's undead.

This bead thing was actually inspired by an earlier post, although I've since forgotten whose it was. I have a lot to learn about designing images horizontally via beads, instead of just drawing or sculpting it.
And right now, it's just a desk doohickey, but I'm thinking of attaching a window sucker and hanging it there.
It's beads + thin wire + thick wire + sculpey + acrylic paint. (+ hot glue to keep the head upright)
Constructive criticism is welcome x 100!
Thanks!
