The perfect cloche

In all the time I've been designing hats [a whopping six or seven months now], I have been trying to make a cloche hat that reminded me of all the great hats I've seen in pictures of my great-grandparents. I think I finally did it. Two pictures of the completed look under the cut.





I love the slight ruffle on the edge. And it was a complete accident. Luckily, I had enough foresight to write down what I did to get it, so it won't be a complete accident again.
