[identity profile] omglia.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
I'm writing an article for my high school paper and need to interview a couple of younger, "revolutionary" and maybe politically minded crafsters.
I'm looking for people under the age of 25 who make cool modern type stuff with a message in mind. If anyone read the recent Bitch magazine article about the crafting revolution, I kinda want to do my version of that from an insider's point of view.

This will mean free exposure for you to about 150 high school students!
If you're interested in this opportunity, either comment your response to the questions below on this post, or email me at lia.saunders@gmail.com so there's no conflict with posting URLs here, etc. Thanks!

1. Name:
2. Preferred Areas of Crafting:
3. How did you get started crafting?
4. What were you attempting to do the first few times you crafted? (imitate someone else's stuff, make cooler looking clothes, etc)
5. What do you think the role of crafting in the younger generation plays?
6. Do you think that crafting is being reclaimed from a domestic role into a more liberal and politically geared one? Why or why not?
7. What advice would you give to aspiring crafters?

Thank you!
