Notebooks...in 4 different sizes!

A5, A6, mini (A7), and teeny (even smaller than that).

I've been making the bigger sizes for a while, but I was curious to see if it was possible to shrink them further. Hence teeny notebooks, they're about 6.5cm (2.5 inches) x 8.3cm (3.3 inches), with a depth of about 1.4cm (0.5 inches). However, I think this may be the limit as to how small I can make notebooks. =)

 

I really enjoy making notebooks, possibly more than sewing (I think it's the lack of fiddly cutting out, hooray for straight lines). I think it helps that I can now manage non-fraying corners, and I actually made patterns for cutting the card (rather than the far more time consuming measuring around the size of the pages)

 

So I've been making quite a lot recently, they look very cute piled up so you can see the different coloured spines (which I then didn't take a picture of).

 

I'm currently working on some lined paper versions, though it's involved a lot of fighting with the printer.
