i've been a knitter for many many years, but i have this pattern that is confusing me just a bit. i've got two questions and if anyone can answer any of them i'd be really appreciative :)

1. what does it mean, exactly when a pattern says "turn"? the part of this pattern i don't understand reads like this: (61 sts. are cast on)-

row 9: k29, (yo, k1)2x in the next 3 sts. (turn, p12, turn k12)3x, turn, (p2tog)6x, turn, (k2tog)3x, then k across the rest of the row on the remaining stitches.

if it helps, this is a little knitted vagina and that row (row 9) is the row that is supposed to make the clitoris... :) i've had patterns that have said "turn" before and i don't think i've ever fully figured it out- maybe i did it without even knowing!

AND-

2. what does "b" mean? it says:

row 10: p29, (p1-b)3x, p29

thanks in advance!
