ok, so i'm having a big problem with the front panels of this sweater.
the pattern says:


Change to MC and work in St st last 4 sts.
With CC, work in seed st for front band to end.

so i'm doing what i thought they meant, and this is what i'm getting:


can anyone please tell me what the heck i'm doing wrong here, because this is my first time to really follow a pattern, my first sweater and what not, and i'm LOST.
